My first experience in the industry was as an intern at Channel 7. I assisted the camera crew on the TV series City Homicide.

 

I then became a trainee at Youthworx Productions for two years which is a social enterprise that works with people of diverse backgrounds.  

 

I was involved with projects that focused on Indigenous Australians, persons with disabilities, disadvantaged youth and African culture. Some of these projects included the likes of Boori Pryor and Kutcha Edwards.

 

During this time I also worked on projects with Sasha Dylan Bell which included a music video and a short film. As a trainee my involvement in each project varied but mainly involved shooting and editing each project in addition to sitting in on production meetings. 

 

After my traineeship I wrote, directed and produced my own no budget short films. My true passion is storytelling and becoming a screenwriter is my ultimate goal.
